When looking at circuits I often see electrolytic caps being stabilized by some sort of goop.  What is a good adhesive to use on electronics like larger capacitors or resistors for stability?

RTV sealant.

Hot melt glue.

Not sure about epoxy, but that stuff is TOO strong I reckon.

Any non water-based glue is usable. They use super glue on really small stuff. Just be careful to keep it off any contacts to be soldered and try not to use it on components that might get hot. I used 'Gorilla' glue recently. The goop is probably ordinary silicon caulk.
