That will do. On the meter there is a picture of a diode and a picture depicting sound. Turn the meter dial to that space, then measure the first transistor from the base to the emitter in one direction turn the probes around and measure them in the other direction. Then move the probes to the base and collector. Run the same test as before. Do the same to the other transistor. You will post 8 results.  pl

Hopefully I did this right...

Multimeter is defaulting at 1 when conencted to nothing.

Q1
positve on B -> negative on C = 1004
positve on C -> negative on B = 1
positve on B -> negative on E = 1007
positve on E -> negative on B = 1

Q2
positve on B -> negative on C = 991
positve on C -> negative on B = 1
positve on B -> negative on E = 998
positve on E -> negative on B = 1


Here is a sample of the sound.
My recording equipment is boxed up at the moment so its with a computer mic, but it definatly shows the sound well.  :)

When I start hiting power cords (hard) the noise stops for a second, then comes back.
