Hi all,
I've had a set of AC128's from steve at smallbear for a while and have been "mussing" over which "Ge Fuzz" to try  so ...
Went for his "2 knob Tonebender MKII" using the pair for Q2/Q3 as recommended.
Using "Torchy's" Veroboard layout, it fired up first time ! ( thats quite a nice feeling for me .... )
For Q1 I tried a few different Ge trannies, some where a bit OTT so I settled on another AC128 with Hfe of about 58.
WOW !! Fuzz heaven  :D
From gentle to "Full on" -- its all there.
Had to doctor the 4k7 gain pot down with a 6k8 resistor to give me about 1k - as it should be.
Great circuit/Great layout and one "Happy Fuzzer"  !!

I'll post a pic when its "boxed up" later this week and perhaps some mp3's on my site too.
