There are other great Tremolo designs out there, but I would say the Pulsar is the most psychedelic sounding one, never failing to send you lost-in-space.
It can also be quite noisy. Coincidentally, I found out his: if You want it to behave nicely, don't feed it too much voltage! That's right, add a power jack, run it at 4.5 or 6 V and it's quiet as a mouse. Well, at least mine.
Other mods I did was using a 220 K log depth pot and a 25K log pot instead of pot-resistor-combination as proposed by Marin (tonepad buit reports). Maybe these mods also add to it.
A circuit a day keeps the therapist away.

I built one a couple weeks ago and the ticking is a problem. I havnt tried any of the fixes... Im not sure I understand them all to be honest with you.

i plan on doing some research on it this weekend and start playing around with the fixes and see what I get.
