This question has probably been asked/answered many times before, but here goes.  I have built the Millenium bypass circuit, the LED comes on - and stays on whether the the effect is active or not.  What am I missing?

Thanks, again.

can you draw a wire of what you do ?

I had that issue once, I found that I wired the gate of the j201 to the outupt of the board and not the output of the pedal. Just make sure that you have continuity to the tip of the output jack all the way to the FET's gate/base for the stomp switch being set to on and off....

If you don't have don't have continuity, just hook up the tip of the output jack to the gate (base if BJT) of the FET. 8)

If you do have 0 ohms between the gate of the FET and the ouput tip while you turn it on and off, then it's something else....

Look at how the Rat bypass is wired:

The two diodes connected in series between the led and jfet may help eliminate switching problems like you encountered.
