original BOSS DC Jack pin question

Hi all!

How thick is the inner pin on the original BOSS DC jack?

2.1 mm or 2.35 or 2.5 mm??

The outter barrel is  5 mm, that much I know. :-)

I use the Boss PS unit to power mine, and I -believe- it has a 2.5 pin... Radio Shack has them as an "M" size, regardless.

Another consideration is that since most Boss pedals are (-) to the pin and (+) to the barrel, you're going to have to reverse that, unless you installed an insulated jack. I bought the plug and a jack and wired them together so I could get it into my build with the (-) at the barrel, since my build's jack grounded itself to the enclosure.

I think it's 2.1mm.  I have a 5mm outside / 2.1mm center pin daisy chain that fit my Boss SD-1 and DS-1 perfectly.

The standard power connector is a 2.1mm barrel jack, sometimes known as a P-5.
