Do you mean just recording more "layers" over the existing loop?  If that's the case I think most looping pedals do that--I've had the Akai Headrush and Boss Loopstation and they both work well.

Try the Mobius Trip lo-fi looper, I think it's on General Guitar Gadgets.

Buy a Z. Vex Junky Lo Fi Looper thingy...

Mike Burgundy

The lofi loop junkie doesn't do multiple layers....
I think the boss loopstation lets you store several loops independantly. Don't know of any other pedal that does that.
You might want to consider going into real full-blown samplers/sequencers if you really want layers and lots of pre-stored stuff.

Paul Marossy

Ah, layered loops. I read over that...

yes..i mean the possibility of rec multiple layer...

i know that there are some efx that work great like the zvex..or other...but i'm looking to build one by my self...

do u know if dirthy sam or the one suggest from GGG allow multiple rec?

Ah yes, I remember you now! How are you doing my friend? How's life in Rome these days?

I see you are going to be a busy bee very soon!

The gurutzeta box doesn't overdub as its designed.  Im waiting for someone to buy an RC-20 and tell us what chips are in it.

I have the AKAI Headrush and it works like a charm. Very easy.
Not too much sample time, though (but enough for a chorus of medium tempo 12 bar Blues...)

Cheers,
Albert
Everything works until it doesn't.

it is possible to build something that does the trick,
with newer generation ISD chips (like in an answerphone you can record several messages/answers).
afaik, this hasn`t been done in the DIY scene yet...

since I know you want a selfmade box, I don`t suggest the ("re-issue")Electro-Harmonix 16s Delay here  :)

I have one!  I love it, actually--almost perfect.  But it's at my bandmate's house.  I'll unscrew it later this week if you're interested...
