Labeling idea?

For those doing large quantities or selling your pedals...

I just went to this link that Paul Perry (Frostwave) posted in another thread:

http://pfl.labelserve.com/

The Lexan printing options are pretty expensive (about $270 per 50 for a 1590B sized, 3-color label) but I was thinking about their bumper stickers.  A 3-color,(W)2-3/4"x(L)5" is $150 per 250.  A 1590B is (W)2.34"x(L)4.39" so you could just have them print your full-face design onto a bumper sticker, cut it out and stick it on.  I doubt that you'd even have to clear over it, although I'm sure you could if you wanted to.

Has anybody ever tried this method or one similar?

I tried printing onto glossy adhesive inkjet sticker paper, and it worked great.  It took clear lacquer nicely too.  I recommend it, but it turns out to be hard to find the stuff, and now that I've run out I can't remember where I got it...

Actually here's the pedal I put it on--it's a 4ms Atoner.  You can't really see it, but the background is a pattern of pink rose wallpaper.

Here's another online resource for stickers.

These guys have been around forever.  Depending on how crazy and complicated your design is, this could be really cheap and look great.  You can fit two full-face labels for a 1590B plus extra labeling for the sides on their 4.25x5.50 sticker.
