Anyone got a picture or can take a picture of the inside of a Sansamp Classic?  I'm trying to route it, so I need a couple pictures for direction.

If you're wanting to make a layout or a diy project of this pedal you might want to check this link out:

Funny thing, I cannot find a single IC or transistor from it ?

cheers,

The sansamp Classic, not the GT-2.  I already have one.

The reason they do that is because they hide the IC's in that white plate where the DIP switches and the Pots are.  Supposedly their "secret design" is what makes their 245 dollar pedal sound so good.  Someone in Japan reverse engineered it so they could make the schematic.  Otherwise, Thanks for the Pics! now I can see how they designed it!

The distance between the white plates is 1 millimeter

Must be some kind of a miniature ic's/transistors..

Well, if you look at the schematic, there is 2 IC's and 1 transistor.  The rest are those tiny resistors and caps you see everywhere else.  Btw, is that your Sansamp?

Where is this schematic? Also, SMT parts can easily fit under that piece of plastic.

heres a link to the real deal, incase anyone was curious:

This thing is outrageously diffiuclt to make a PCB with.  I hope it really pays off if it works.

gak

was that schematic tested??
it would be great to clone a sansamp classic!

Hence my work on it.  I plan to separate the PCB into four parts, to make things simpler.  Hope people are looking forward to it!

I have a pcb layout in some cd, i'll make a search and send it by email, it's not tested by me but you can do it and correct it if necessary.

PM me your email adresses and wait some days.

Saludos, Marcelo.
Fuzz boxes don't need on/off switch!!!!!!!!

Ok!

Yes it's mine, why ?

There is something wrong with it, i'll have to fix this thing....hmmm...
