Suggested feature for board

I go to some boards, and if you move the cursor over the thread topics, you can get a little viewer window into some of the first few sentences.  I keep trying it here out of habit, but I'm always slightly surprised nothing comes up.  Sometimes I'll go to links at the other sites I wouldn't normally just by seeing those first few sentences.  It's a cool feature for us lazy people as well..... :idea:

For example, I'm likely not going to click on "How to Say Thanks" but if I quickly see what the thread is about, I just may.  No offense to that author.

I've seen that and maybe there's a mod for it too.

However, any mod I add to the BBS, will make it that much more harder to upgrade when I have to considering the very nature of "open source" means that there's always going to be someone trying to hack it and someone that cannot resist screwing around with other people's work.
