hi guys

I'm thinking about building this headphone amp from HeadWise...

the guitar is Mono, so I would use just half of the circuit right, well I was wondering if could I use 2 halfs of that but not to use in two-channel way, but everything mono using an OpAmp Mixer like the AMZ Simple Mixer, so I can use the 2nd In to plug the out of my bass or cdplayer or PC with backing tracks to play along with it.

Another thing, can I add a switch to pull down a little the power of the headphone amp? lika a security switch, because if something shorts i could blow some ears... but i don't know how to do this, maybe switch a resistor in the output? Ideas plz!

sorry the bad english...

You could make it stereo with a switch that send the signal from the left tot he right to make "mono".

Or you could just use the Ruby amp from ronoffgroove which is lm386 based like I did.

I'm looking for something very clean to hear in the Phones... Ruby sounds clean enought to do not distort from like a Cd PLayer?
