Yeah, it's got a loud pop when I enable the efect and I understand that I'm going to have to put a 'pull down resistor' at the front-end of the circuit. I've searched and scoured the Internet regarding this topic and I’ve come up somewhat empty-handed.

So I ask of you soldering iron wielding aficionados for guidance in this operation.

Does this task require ONE resistor or TWO as I’ve read elsewhere and at what value should they be?

Now, where do I place this/these resistor(s)?

Thanks guys. This is for an MXR Phase 90 block.

You could read "Why does my stompbox pop when I hit bypass?" at GEO

http://geofex.com/Article_Folders/box_pop.htm

In fact, there are some other good things to read there.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Thanks Mr. Keen. That actually makes a lot of sense to me!
