Today's project: the Twin Turbo

I'm building a two-channel booster pedal for a friend with a corvetty theme.

Behold, the Twin Turbo.



The printing was done on International Paper "Outdoor Sign" sticky label, and airbrushed red paint on the sides. The whole thing was overcoated with matte, and then gloss.

Great work there Rodgre, looks totally professional.
Tell me, whats the thinking with overcoating with a matte then gloss coat?
Does this help hide the edges of the sticky labels ?

Exactly. The matte seemed to help me build up a few layers to hide the edges of the label, and so I could see that I had good coverage as well (the matte showed up better over gloss paint)

I also have decided to shoot a final overcoat of matte because I think I like the look better.
