Has anyone tried any of these? I have seen them for a while on Ebay. IT has been said these are made in the Boss factory, but I think that is untrue. They may be Boss copies in a differnet (although good looking) package. Everything I have found points to Chinese construction.

These "Metal" enclosure versions don't seem to be on the site any more ?
they were there last year...
I have the E20OD overdrive, E20MT metal driver and PH70 phaser.
They are built like tanks and sound great !.
The E20OD is a TS-9 circuit, almost part for part and that "orange" distortion looks like a DS-1 clone.
PH70 is a very nice "rich" phaser circuit
They are made well and have "aluminium" knobs !! ( booteek ! )

I wouldn't go for the plastic version though......

Daphon ist a FX-Company in China. They produced the TS5 series for Ibanez.Today they sell those ex-IBZ-FX5 under the name Daphon.

Only difference: Logo (Daphon) and color (creme) of the plactic enclosure.

You can get them for half of the price of a IBZ-TS5 (about 20-30$).

Great for modding (new 4558D Chip inside). Sound equal to TS7/TS9/TS5.
