Hi

I'd like to know if there are schematics for a direct box injection wich use FET transistor like J201.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

Because I like the sound of the J201 and that there produce less noise that an opamp like TL071.

Hey Stephen have you used a transformer as per the schem? Is it possible and worth to sub for an active electronic balanced XLR output???
It's hard for me to find those transformers here....

I used Don TillMan Active Preamp

and I was thinking of using these 3 circuits as inspiration to make it a balanced output circuit.

My suggestion: use the first FET as input buffer and use it for one side of the balanced output. Feed the output of that same first FET to an output buffer as the above circuits. Just make sure that the second output is out of phase with the other output. From how Jensen uses it, it should be how of phase.
