Hi all
I'm building the TB MKII Pro.
I got my Geranium pack from smallbear but was just wondering a couple things....

I assume that Q1 is the lowest value (45)
then Q2 would be the (67)
and Q3 would be the (123) value??

Also when installing these, should I push them as far down on the board as possible or leave them standing a bit above the board?
I assume these would be sensitive to the soldering heat??

Thanks in advance!
Sean

Use a socket. An easy way to do it is cut up an opamp socket.

I always socketted those, turns out theres a # of good reasons, Easier Debugs it would seem may be one of them.
When I don't use them I leave enough lead to alligator clip/heat sink on to the lead[s I'm soldering, and try not to solder iron too long on them...which isn't that often.
If it were a say 2n5089 I knew would just about for sure work/bias, I might forgo the socketting.

Thanks guys!
I didn't buy the sockets & I want to build it right now. ;-)
So I'll alligator the leads & cross my fingers! hehe
I've got the resistors & caps on the board so far! <G>
Also doing the D-comp but SB left out some resistors in my order. :(
Ah well, we're only human.  I'll have to stop by RS & see if they have them.

Cheers
