wet/dry control for a bass overdrive

Hey, I'm working on designing a bass overdrive.  I want to be able to be able to mix in clean sound.  Will it work just to send clean signal direct from the input to one side of a 100k pot, the distorted output to the other, and have the wiper go to the output?

No, it will feedback. At a minimum you need a buffer on the dry side. You can either use an opamp or a transistor.

Search for "sd-1 blend" for my solution for adding a blend to the sd-1 pedal.
