I love that place. -I put in an order everytime I get a sales flyer.
As soon as I get some extremely dark glasses I'm gonna see what I can melt with the Fresnel lens I got from there.
Only downside is that the orders always take three weeks to arrive.
The prices and selection make it easy to overlook that though.

Anyone know what their "Audio Opto Coupler" (G15396) is?  At a buck a pop, perhaps it's worthwhile for some projects... There are a couple of cap and IC grab-bags that look interesting too.

KORGULL

I bought 10 of the opto-couplers but haven't done anything with them yet.  They are unmarked.
My experience with their grab bags is that they are usually very good. All the stuff is in perfect condition and part #s are easily read. That is not the case at some other places where I've gotten grab bags and received 75% crap.
Their large box assortments are a good deal - even if you only have a use for half of the stuff, you still end up with a good value for the money. It's fun too, like opening up a treasure chest. In fact, I still have a bag from my last order to go through which they call the "semiconductor treasure bag." I bought two - lots of voltage regulators and metal can transistors among other things.
Check out their big box of LEDs.

EGM has a grab-bag of CadiniumSulfideCells(CdS) i think, 4 $2.50.
i got a couple when i ordered 10 of the unmarked optos.
haven't tried any of them yet in my McMeat build.
The VTL5C3's are working fine.
It's funny....the drive IC  (IC2) doesn't want to drive the 2 Vactrols
*and* the panel LED(?).  I added another opamp 2 drive the panel.
Seems 2 work fine with the mod.
