Lacquer or Enamel over Dark T-shirt Transfer

I did a search and didn't come up with any specifics on what to use over the Dark T-shirt Transfer.  The transfer came out alright, but I got some bubbling when I used a Clear enamel.  Is lacquer better?

I have used Enamel and have had no problems.
