any behringer euromixer owner around?

Hi

I just got a second hand behringer euromixer 1002 ( the third simplest model) but I'm just astonished with the noise levels of it... I would like to know if someone around owns this or the simpler models to make a comparison...

mine with all the knobs in the middle, using the channel 1 with the knob also in the middle makes an unbelievable noise - just like a tv without reception...

I have a Behringer MXB 1002, absolutely brilliant mixer for the price which was £99 in England and I dare say the same number of $ in the USA.
