Ultra mod with bicolor LED

I've been messing with DS-1 mods. 

As most of you know, the so-called SEM mod replaces an existing clipping diode with the original indicator LED.   The Ultra mod switches in a 2nd LED in series with the SEM LED.

I don't know that much about bicolor LEDs (_just_ ordered some) but using a DPDT switch I think you could use one for the clipping LED and have it change color when you switched in the Ultra LED.  Kind of cool, if it works.

Does this make sense?  -->
