Clean Machine - cap/pot question

hello there, i have two caps i dont no what they are tho maybe you could tell me.

the green one says "2a6837

also i only 3 pots ones a 500kb the other two are 100kb could i use what i got to make this

if not is there any project i can make with my limited stuff, i got a few resistors and diode and jaks and stuff i can rip componenets out of, but im looking for really simple stuff

either pot will work ok, but the 500k will  be better...

those caps are too large in value....you'll either need...

a) a much smaller value cap, in the 100-200 picofarad range


or

b) not use the cap at all...


the only function of the cap is to let a small amout of high end "bleed through" as you turn the pot down, that way you retain clarity at lower volumes.   if you build it without the cap, it'll "roll off" the high end, like a guitars' volume pot does when you turn down. it works just fine either way...i just prefer the extra "sparkle" of having the cap :)
