Need help with this schematic

Hey guys, I'm having a little trouble with the schematic below.  Maybe I'm thinking too hard, but are the switches just normally open on/off pushbuttons? (This is for a remote effects loop amp footswitch.)

I don't think it is possible to say from the circuit fragment what they are.
But, if that 'selector' steps thru a number of options, then that is a strong vote for 'momentary'.
