I've had so much fun with Tim's "Ugly Face" that I'm getting ready to try his "Psychtar". After looking at the schematic:

I'm thinking it's just one SPDT switch to switch between the octave and sitar. I'm going to use Torchy's layout and I'm confused what/where switch "A" and "B" refer to. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Torchy

SW-A and SW-B refer to each side of the switch - you need either a DPST or a DPDT, SPDT will not work.

Thanks Torchy!!! Hope all is going well.

Let us know how it comes out. You're one of the few people besides myself that I know of, that's built it. It's a great box, and does a great clean octave up. Of course as you know, there's no such thing as "clean", but there's no fuzz, and the distortion is not very evident with this one. So far, it has been the cleanest of the up octaves I've built, then you have the sitar thing to play with too, which is cool.
