I love the blue box (looks a lot like the original), and the lettering, really nice job! That thing is built like a tank! I guess if the effect doesn't work, then you can always use the box for a car ramp for changing your oil  Is the channel something you make, or something you buy? If you're building this yourself out of 1/8" aluminum plate, then you have access to tools that very few of us have. You would need a fairly hefty break, shear & notcher to make it from scratch. I have worked in metal fab, so I know what it takes to make something like that from scratch. The tools are expensive too!

Thank you, I've built it for my father who have a garage

I'm really started from scratch, with a 2mm aluminium plate (~0.08 inches), you dont need a lot of tools, I've used metal saw, hammer,(shear, but the saw is sufisant) and a vice (something to block the aluminium plate for bend), abrasive paper to sandpaper...and patience...
you can try with 1mm plate...

for the lettering I've paint with my owns two hands 8)

I've done stuff like that before too, but mine NEVER came out that well. Mine usually looks like it was bent in a vise, and has teeth marks from the vise jaws. I could make it look that nice with a brake, but definitely not with a vise. You have a gift my friend!

Quote from: wiplashIf you use metal like iron you can weld, but the aluminium is difficult if you are not specialist.
Depends on your welding gear I guess. I've got a gasless mig at home, you can buy the gasless aluminium welding wire for it as well, almost like soldering :)
It's probably quicker and easier to do a bit more bending and less welding

to avoid the marks of teeth I use wood boards between the jaws of the vice ,and abrasive paper to finish if there is some marks, and the paint mask the imperfections 8)
