Blackfire/VooDooLabs OD etc also.

"Shrunk" quite a bit and using "NO" effects on the new Psychtar/Bronx

You'll get the idea of how the Psychtar reacts to tone/dynamics and I
hope they worked out OK ?
Every time you plug in, there's new sounds to be had.
The lower octave on the "Deliverance" Banjo mp3 sounds like a Yamaha
DX7 ... !!!

No "Steve Vai" playing here, just "sound" demo's  :D

Enjoy,

Marty.

These VooDoos sound Cool,  :D ..you're right, BTW, it's a very nice sounding circuit.
The Psyctar and Bronx samples    couldn't be played on WMP for some reason...maybe I'll look into that if it persists.
Convention creates following, following creates convention.

Some nice psycho stuff going on. I'll go with my mega-wah-wetup for this gig, maybe I'll build a psychtar next. :)

You didn't tell me you had samples! Hey Marty, is that as clean of an up octave as you get? My build is nothing like that! It sounds quite a bit like the Suppa Fuzz notch samples that RDV did. Basically, as clean an octave up as you can get from a transformer type circuit, and NO fuzz at all. You have to be on your neck pickup, and have the tone controls rolled off. I didn't really hear a sitar type sound like mine does either. I believe for that, it's guitar volume rolled way back, tone controls rolled off, and bridge pickup.

RDV

The new samples won't work for me, the older ones do, but the new ones don't.

Hmm, wierd they are regular mp3's at 128kbs ....
oh well if "save target" works then thats OK !!
They work for me using "Safari/Explorer" Mac ....

Jeff, I'll try that octave trick, to get "clean" sounds from the psychtar you
do have to turn down quite a bit ! ... I dont like to ..

Glad you're enjoying them !

No effects?  The Drone sample sounds like it's got reverb on the higher notes.  Is that the effect itself, or do you have a spring reverb on your amp?

ryanscissorhands

I particularly like the "clocks" sample. It sounds more like something you would expect from a Green Ringer or something like that.

MartyMart

Thats correct, "No" effects used on those.
The blackfire/mongoose/voodoo/supafuzz all have a touch of reverb.
The new ones are dry !!
Psychtar is doing the rest :D
Yeah the "clocks" sounds like "Japans" Ghosts track !!
very "ring mod" like ..

Hmm, I can't delete those files from arons area !
so that would get confusing, perhaps I'll have to ask him to pull them off
and I can upload them again !!
