how would you mount an LDR?

i was just curious, how would you mount an LDR on a case?  and i noticed that effector 13 uses a small globe over his.  Where can i find that?

Curiously enough, I was trying to mount an inconvenient sensor on a case today, and came up with the idea of taking an adhesive rubber foot, cutting a recess to fit the sensor, and drilling a couple of holes thru the rubber for the leads (which projected from the back of the sensor).
Then, some glue to steady everything & stick the foot over a hole large enough to take the (heatshrink covered) leads, but small enough to give plenty of area for the foot to adhere to.

As it happened, I didn't actually have to do this in the end, I pulled itthe insides out of a chassis mount power jack & worked wiht that, but next time, it the sensor was larger... :wink:
