Great Cheddar Fuzz Face si hfe values

It looks like the Great Cheddar is based on an NPN silicon Fuzz Face, with an op-amp input and output bufffer. A lot of the tone of the Ge Fuzz Face is greatly effected by the hfe of the two transistors. You it be worthwhile in the Great cheddar to match transitors? If so what values would be good?
I remember reading a lot of info on selecting the right Ge transistors for the Fuzz Face but I don't remember seeing anything on si. Would the values be the same for Ge vs Si?

Just stick whatever BC547s in there, they work and sound great.  Oh, and read this:
