Supasustain -> 9V?

I would to build a Supasustain. But I don't want to "problemize" my pedalboard with a 18 V power supply. There's a way to convert the circuit to 9V?

I tried w no luck. I just add 2 9v togather per GEO FAQ and use it that way- easdy and sounds great.
