What value/comp  is that darkish green tiny cap under the IC chip? (right between chip and clipping diodes). Are there any upgrades i could do to it? i fried it trying to put in a Japan Radio Company chip.

That'll be the 51pF "softening" cap that takes some of the harshness out of the distorted signal.  IIRC it's a ceramic disc capacitor.

dannydowrong

so can i just remove it and jumper it with a piece of resistor leg?

Replace it or replace with any close value cap.

Roberto

47pF will be fine. Don't jumper it!

Either remove it or replace it with a more easily obtainable 47pF cap, but definitely don't jumper it.
