and that allways raises questions...
so i'll make a list of what i found and ask some things when i get to it.

if you see something usefull, please do tell me!

ic's:

AY-3-1015D 8012  (this one is huge! 20 pins on each side)
NS 70012    (x5)
ICL 8001 C 7403

then there is a huge load of resistors.
lots of caps caps from 50 to 1000pf

about 100 5K trimpots
9 1k trimpots
more than 50 trimpots with values between 10k and 100k

caps, fuse holders, switches, power resistors, leds.

8 bridge rectifiers

a box that sais LDR, please tell me more because i don't really know what those are. there are black boxes with 4 leads that say:  NSL PL 1033-1
there are glass-like colored discs with 2 leads and there are tiny thin gold sprkle rectangles with 2 leads.

SHARP S202DS4  (x3)
don't know what it are, they have four leads and can be connected to a heat sink. they have +, - and a wave sign like rectifiers but i don't think it are rectifiers

transistors:

BC549    (x9)
BC547    (x15)
2N1613  (x22)
BSY53   (x10)

diodes:
NEC 1S119  (x4)
SCIN 5199 6902  (x8)

Quote from: puretubeask 75$ for the TDA2108...

are you serious? why are they so expensive?

rarer than SAD512 or SAD1024... I`d try $99...

object88

Apparently they're 2048 stage BBDs, perhaps compatible with the 3008?  Scouring the web dug up no datasheet and a few places selling them for ~12 pounds or 30 euros... but I have no idea if they actually had them in stock.

Bring your old chips found in the darkest recesses of your parts bins, and have experts assess their current market value!

"Ah, well what we have here is an old Mostek top octave divider!  Where do you find it?"

"Well, my father had a hobby organ he was working on during his retirement.  He never finished it, and shoved all the parts in a box.  We were cleaning up the garage for him, and stumbled across it."

"I would estimate this chip as having a market value between $60 and $100."

"You're joking!!  That little chunk of black plastic?"

"Yes.  Not only that, but the chips labelled SAD512 are also worth a similar amount to the right buyer.  Total estimated value of your little pile of parts....roughly $200[/b]  So, what do you think?"

"I'm astounded, really.  I mean, you wouldn't think to look at these things.  They all look the same, really, quite like little bugs."

loscha

Do you want cash (paypal?) or swaps?

Hmm, I am mistaken. That AY isn't one of the synth range of AY's, it's a UART. So, possibly isn't that much to me, but, I'll check out the list again against my databooks and the books at college and get back to you.
which part of sin theta plus index times sin theta times ratio do you need me to clarify to you?

I can see Mark has been thinking about this for some time. Who have you got organized for the panel Mark?

If these would be high-cost fantastic boutique semiconductors,...
I would say tube amps are becoming very cheap ;-)

nice info!

if you know where i can sell some of that stuff ( i won't be using everything myself) let me know.

the organ is quite right, amongst other things

i have way more transistors and ic's waiting for me on that attic by the way

nifty - was that off the top of the head, or did you google them ?

im impressed by the NS 330 MM5314N digital alarm clock IC

:-D

ah ha... trade secrets my friend.

Some where off the cuff, I know my logic gates pretty well, and some of the op amps were obvious, but others took some digging around in various resources we have here including data books, CD reference catalogues, secialist suppliers etc.

The TDA isn't worth THAT much.  I can't think of any pedals that use it off the top of my head, and it's available for 8 euros here:
