I just built Dragonfly's Mezcal Fuzz and when i plugged it in i got a really low volume output. I turned gain and volume up to full and i just got more distortion, no volume increase. I played with my volume pot and which ever way i changed it nothing happend. I double checked the wiring but it was correct. So i decided to take out the volume pot and it worked fine.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Thanks

Let me Guess...it ain't Wired Right, or the battery is real low.

I checked the wiring andits correct. The battery is fresh. Could the pot be dodgy?

I've checked pots in circuit, pulled them out first or after...might want to try that if you suspect it's bad.
Reading in circuit resistances...look for, and calculate around or eliminate alternate current paths isolating...breaking connection[s?] through circuit.
the wiring is correct because you checked it....  :P

Yeah it was the pot. I tried it with a light bulb and it wouldn't light up. To double check i tried it with my 100b pot and it worked so it is stuffed. It was my last 100ka as well  :(

Thanks for your help
