i'm in montreal. but to be honest, i've pretty much had to give up the stompbox hobby due to lack of spare time. it came down to realizing that between a full time job, familly, new home, playing music, writing and recording, there's literally no pieces of the pie left time-wise.

although, i did order a g. tranisistor to throw together a range-master (i guess i won't sleep a few nights next week) and i do browse through these posts once or twice a week. but i'm happy i got to build all the effects i ever wanted, plus a theremin and a couple of smallish synths.

good luck though. this forum is an excellent resource. the only limit to how much you'll learn is the extent of your curiosity.
