I just realized my Late 60's Fuzz is taking away some of my guitar's volume and tone even when the effect is bypassed. I have ruled out any adjacent pedals.  I am using the 3DPDT blue switches similar to what was being sold at this site and I have also removed the DC jack input in favor of battery power alone.  I would appreciate any advice in troubleshooting this problem with a meter.

Now that I have given  symptoms is there any initial thoughts as to the culprit?

Bad solder joints, faulty jack, shorting to ground, leaky switch????

Thanks for any advice which can be offered

pots?  really?  Even though they are not in the circuit when bypassed?

Believe me everything comes into play in circuits, but mainly-jacks, bypass, grounding, wiring...basic stuff. :D
