Welcome.  Apart from the infrequent misunderstanding here and there, it's a good place.  Good enough that even when people throw their hands up in disgust and walk away, they can't stay away for long.

One of these days, I'd be curious to know roughly how many posts it takes, on average, until people start to become contributors as opposed to "merely learners".  I'll bet it isn't long.
