Hi,

Can someone detail exactly the easiest way to wire in a 3pdt switch around the circuit, and make the effect always on to acheive true bypass?

I am rehousing into a 1590b and am not goind to be replacing the pots or jacks as it will be secured to my pedalboard.

I need to know what wire goes where and how to jumper, hey I'm new at this!  :)

I have searched the archives and no one actually details how they did it or what they do.

Hope someone can help.

Cheers,

Brad

hmm good luck. thats surface mount stuff your dealing with! actually aren't the mini series based on a CMOS semi true bypass system or something? certainly didn't notice any big tone suckage on mine.

You're right, it has been done but I dont know the details, and in such a
small space ( the board is all SMD ) you're more likely to just make the
"Dano" useless ... !
Snoop is right, I have four small "Dano" pedals and they dont "tone suck"
at all, in fact if you go ahead and line up 10 "true bypass" pedals with a
20 foot gtr lead at each end, you WILL have serious "tone sucking" going
on - that's for sure
Sorry, dont want to force a "true bypass" slanging match, but there's
pro's and cons to that method of wiring ....
Wht not just transfer the whole thing into a small 1590B box ?
You may only have to "extend" the jacks/switch with some wire to re-house it .... ?
