LED safety & ideas....

After reading the thread on the dangers of UV LEDs...I came up w/a solution:
Cut a ping pong ball in half (or less than)...make the cut straight...glue it over the LED.  Now you have a safe glowing dome instead of a light like every one else.  I bet a few domes of different colors would look pretty cool.

Taking it another step:  Rip up some faux jewelry & put *gems* over the lights.  A jewelry box!

Or...place a translucent piece of quartz over a UV LED for a real *rock box*!  It oughta glow nicely.

Any Clear or semi clear stone, but a flat side makes it easier to mount...haven't done it yet, don't have the stone here, should look pretty and cool though.
