anybody know the correct voltages coming off the ge transitors for a fuzz face?
also how do you maeasure them?

i have a dmm...

one other question i have is i got trim pots for biasing but for some reason they go in steps. like the pot turns ten clicks. it is set at certain points. it is not free spinning like a normal pot. why????

thanks to those who can i help

PS: i've searched everywhere and can't find the above info..thanks again

ROG runoff groove has alot of target voltages..or is it Homewrecker.
I know Q1E IS grounded, base one Ge diode drop [Ge FF] above the emitter, and collector sits low, like just over a volt or so...somebody hit me for typing...
Q2's collector voltage is all I ever really had to bother with, otherwise I've found circuit wiring errors...Q2C should be  around 1/2v or 4.5v-5v with 9v supply, and can be adjusted changing the value of Q2CResistor...IIUC this is a trimpot ITC.
The voltages will vary with FF encarnations, depending on transistor leakage/gain.
Look at GEO 'technology of' articles.
