As I was trying to find a Smash Drive clip, I came upon my Booster+ sample. I thought it was really cool at the time.

I mean.....

3 cascaded Mini-Boosters with independent level controls "saturation" controls if you will! MPF102 transistors, an amp simulator for good measure!

That was nearly (or over) 7 years ago! Time flies.

Now I have my Shaka pedals with RC4558 op amps powering J201 circuits!

Ironically I am recording with the same guitar! (Modified but the same)

Here's a clip to celebrate the old and new! (Crank it up)

Thanks to all that have helped in the quest for better tone for our hobby! 8)

Hey! There's nothing BAD about that soundclip! :D  Well, our preference in sound might have changed in seven years but still :)  I have records using that kind of guitartone and I enjoy them. In perspective of the 60'-70' sound everybody seem to be longing for nowdays; who knows? Maybe in 20 years your 3 cascaded miniboosters will be the tone that everybody's looking for?

Well... at least.. Let's try to be positive :D

And so say all of us!

I was just thinking the other day... I know quite a few forums & it's suprisng, that the one that works best & is most helpful & good natured,is this one!! If you asked the general public what group had the most mature & civil BBS, I doubt guitar fx would come to mind!!! but rest assured, this beats all I've seen (including some so-called 'professions').

Well who do we have to thank for this? ...Everyone !!!
  Here's the Short List....somebody Help me...once I start a list like this, I feel guilty !!!
The world is a better place because of these people, the vibe coming from guitars worldwide have improved markedly because of them !!!
My point is that good vibe and understading 'resides' here !!!

Some of the people who have helped me most, are beginners who asked questions that i *thought* I knew the answer to... until Istarted writing...and then I found that I had more learning to do!!
So thanks EVERYONE!!!

Well Aron, I'll have to say that your old sample still sounds good today! Thanks for giving us all a place like this to hang out and make Paul scratch his head.
