Hello guys,

I really need your help. I got one of those wonderful Boss LS-2. One of the best loopers on earth, very versatile, transparent, and cheap. But it's missing one simple feature, the two loops can't be put in serie. What a shame...

Anyway, in the manual is a overall schematic :

So it would be quite simple, break the connections after return A and before Send B, and with a DPDT make a // serie switch. No problems here.

The problems arrive when I tried to find thoses connections. You know Boss, it's a real mess in there. And I don't have the schematic. I tried to draw the schematics, from the board, but hey, it's really hard !

So, if someone has a Boss LS-2 schematic around, it would really, really help. And it would make this LS-2 the perfect looper I'm searching for !! And not only "I', I allready have some people wanting me to mod their LS-2 if I manage to do this mod.

I'm searching it myself, of course, and I'll try to continue drawing the schematics from the pedal, but if you can help...

Why do you want them in series? I think we need to know the application to give a good answer.

For  example, a quick switch from parrallel to series may cause volume issues. You might want to take the output from "level A" to the input of "send B" so you can control the loops better. Again, this may cause level problems.

You probably also want to ground the input to "level A" when you switch to series or it may pickup unwanted noise.

Why put two loops in serie ? It seems obvious to me. To have more possibility without unplugging all the pedals.

For now, I'm searching a schematic of this pedal, or someone who knows where the things are located (I mean the things shown on the overall schematic : buffers escpecially).

Thanks thought, you might be right, I should ground the broken tracks. I didn't thought about that.

There is two solutions : take after the "level A", which could be nice to overdrive a pedal placed in loop B for example, but which could cause problems, as 2 boosts would be in serie (it could be too much for the pedal to handle). Or take before the "level A", after the buffer.

In any case, I should put it before the buffer which is before "send B".

I searched Google, but I found nothing.

Where do you guys search to find "rare" schematics ?
