Flatline compressor LDR need some info

Hi

After seeing a few good reports about the flatline compressor I thought I'd have a go at building one. I've just got a quick question though, are there any recomended values for the LDR, min/max resisitance etc or is it not too critical?

I have not seen any recommended values for the LDR, I made one up
from a "smallbear" LDR/3mm red LED and some heat shrink.
I think it was just recommended for "compression" use at his site ?
Anyway, it works a treat and is quite a useful compressor - just built a
second one, as the first was a gift for a friend "in need" !!

cheers for the reply. I might experiment with different LDR/LED combos and see what difference it makes. I'll let you know how I get on
