For those who are interested here are some Illustrator concepts of my three most current projects. I just did these to get ideas for paint and labels. I quite like them.

The first is my Big Muff clone I call "Angry Dwarf" after the song "One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces" by Ben Folds Five who's bass player Robert Sledge used the Big Muff a lot. I went pretty minimalistic and used the mid 70's EH font.

Next is my Bass Brassmaster clone. I tried to make a look similar to the original. I couldn't think of a clever nickname for it though.

Finally is my Ross Compressor/Orange Squuezer dual compressor I call "Jaffa Jam". Jaffa is a variety of orange from Israel and I guess Jam refers to the goo inside Jaffa Cakes which any Brits reading this probably know about. Also it's the type of band that people call Phish who's guitar player was really the first to bring the Ross to people's attention, yeah that's it, and it stars with "J". :)

Hopefully the real things will bear resemblance to my concepts and I plan on making a web site with photos and mp3's when they're completed. The Muff and Brassmaster are built awaiting paint and the compressor is  nearing completion.

Let me know what ya think,
Daniel
