Here's my version of Voodoo Chile using my wah from Phillip's site (Stuart's halo and bc109b's work really nice) and fuzz face with OC42's. The entire thing was done with a POD (some parts sound a bit grainy) a while back but I just got new computer up and running and finally got a chance to finish it off. Please disregard all the clams.

This is driving me nuts. It says I can create a public folder to share with anyone. "Just copy the URL and send it to whom ever you want, even if they don't have a yahoo account". I assume I can paste here for all to view also.
Ok I'll see what eles I can try.......

Web site says it's down for repairs.....

Thank you Barrett77. I was looking for this last night but couldn't remember where I saw it. I just contacted yahoo and they acknowlegde there is a problem with their server. It may take 72 hours to fix. Sorry for all the false links. I just accessed it through the preview so it should work....

Say, I forgot to ask - what order were the effects in - wah before Fuzz Face? Any input/ouput buffers involved? Also, what kind of guitar did you use, a Strat?

Thanks guys. The wah is before the FF with no buffer. IIRC (I did this about a year ago) for the intro I had to turn the volume on the guitar down to bring out the cleaner side of the FF. During the main part I did have to add a little POD distortion to help sustain durning those long bends. I don't know how SRV did it!! Fulltone vibe and FF (volume down)during the middle section.
The guitar is a Tom Anderson Drop Top. One awesome guitar. http://www.andersonguitars.com/
I also just picked up a Fuchs ODS 50. http://www.fuchsaudiotechnology.com
and would really like to redo this using the Fuchs. I bet it would sound way better!!

Well, he had several amps going simultaneously, that's gotta be a factor!

Nice. I guess if you go for a cleaner sound with the Fuzz Face, you can have some nice results with a unbuffered wah before it, which is news to me (honestly, I haven't tried the Fuzz Face/wah combo). The guitar volume can certainly have a lot of control, too. But, such is the nature of a Fuzz Face...
