Snarblinge,

This enclosure was modified. In Brazil the enclosures are at high price, so I have to get creative. It's a big enclosure for outside electrical circuits:

Telvis, terrific job at adapting what's available! Beautiful job, very resourceful!

Impressive, Telvis. Did you bandsaw the box? Tell us more.

(And where are you hailing at? I'm in Sao Paulo).

Telvis, that makes for a really cool unique enclosure!

I'm just sad that a Coleção Disquinho hat to die for this.
I collect those :)

Hetredman,

Indeed, it was very sad!
These LP's "Disquinhos" were part of my childhood.
But they are now immortalized.
I've been working on recycling materials for my projects, this disk is broken.

This is a variant of John Hollis' Easy Vibe Circuit with an added ramp circuit by R. G. Keen.

Layout is here: http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/cathexis/Veroboard+Layouts/Easy+Vibe+LERA/

(the ramp circuit is not the LERA circuit as noted on the layout, it's R. G Keens Leslie Style ramp up for EZ Vibe and Phase 90 Mod - I got the names mixed up when I drew the layout and never got around to fixing it)

It's a very nice effect, I love the musicality of the ramping when you change speeds. Custom made for this artist: https://youtu.be/pj2mCJcNPhY

Beautiful! The ramp mod seems like a good addition!

Hatredman

Hummm, Art Nouveau?

Loved it! <3

Indeed! Art Noveau of the scottish school!

Sweet!

Does she play some instruments, or just sings?

I loved the tragic frailty of her singing.

She wields a Jazzmaster, gotta respect that! And one of those organs that sounds like it has an on-board hairdryer. And an analog synth of Italian heritage. An so on! There should be a few more clips on YouTube. Also here: https://open.spotify.com/artist/5dseot692aM2zCSG1iQgtZ

Got her non-stop on my Youtube playlist.

Very nice, Trevis!
any other ideas for alternative enclosures? Trevis, Hatredman? I've just started and I'm building into butter package (manteiga Aviação). Also pots, footswitchs and jacks are expensive here in Brazil.

I use Coqueiro tuna (round) and sardines (boxy) cans for tap tempo and amp footswitch enclosures. Maybe if you are really careful with the layout, you can even cram a Fuzz Face inside, or a 1-knob fuzz.
I have a big Feijoada can and another big Sauer Kraut ("chucrute") can that I'm saving for a pair of little amps. I have speakers that fit on the open ends, what I don't have is time :D

I also use alternative switches when the "stomp" types are too much for my pocket. There are ugly (but rugged) industrial switches that sell here for a fraction of the imported "stomp" ones.
You can find a DPDT one for R$ 5, and the cheapest DPDT stomp switch is selling for not less than R$ 20  (3PDTs are R$ 60 and up).

To understand what we're talking about:

Butter:

Tuna:

Sardines:

Feijoada (bean stew with pig leftovers like ear, tail, nose, bladder, kidneys, head, feet & disgusting guts sold in big cans for the whole family):

Chucrute (Sauer Kraut, all 3 kilograms of it):

I know a few people will get mad seeing this so many times, but it's alright, it's a fantastic looking pedal.

Wanted to ask how you finished it? Is that waterslide and envirotex?
