I dig this box, big time! Nice use of building supplies! I've seen a couple chrome covers around here, but never though much about putting them to use like that.

Worked a new piece today for it. BTW, Im just working this as I go along, no idea what it'll end up like, lol. I may use a Hammond-style box, I may make something from scratch. Decided to go for the Eye of Horus/Province. I have another piece I'm gonna be working for it, and then I can start incorporating it onto the box. Not sure if I'm keeping it blue or not, but figured I'd share my slow progress. The thing is starting to creep me out, lol.

A bit scary  ;D, but looks awesome. First associations was that symbol on American dollars - eye on top of pyramid. So, maybe good idea is paint that triangle like pyramid? Waiting for update  :icon_wink:

HAH! Actually, the eye on the american dollar IS the All Seeing Eye of God, which is the "Eye of Province", and all which originally came from "The Eye of Horus" from Egypt. Horus went to kill Set (Seth) to avenge his father, Osiris's murder. During the battle, Set wounded Horus' left eye. Horus won the battle, and when he returned home, and (Thoth?) fixed it for him. The Right eye represents the sun, and the Left eye represents the moon. That is also why the Eye of Horus and derivatives have the tear. Even our Colorado State Seal has an eye, lol... tear and all.

The Eye also represents math, albeit in fractions. It represents 1, being 1/2+1/4+1/8+1/16+1/64th, throwing away 1/64th as the convention. The 1/64th missing from the Whole Number 1 represents the piece of Horus' eye that was lost during the battle with Set.

The Minibooster is actually closer to stock Orman Minibooster, but with noiseless biasing.

I posted some gutshots in the 1590A picture thread. :D

That board is beautiful, to the point at which I'd mount it the other way up in the case so the components are visible on taking a peek under the cover.
I made the transistor angry.

That is the f'n bomb. I would love to see that with a large cut-out on the face of the pedal...just so you could see the construction. Nice work, Dan.
