The alpha pots with the straight pins have 0.2" spacing and are a perfect fit.

Andrew.

no white washers... ;)

ok, your builds look cool without white washers ;)

Ok, on the serious side, how do you etch your pedals? What enclosures do you use? I didn't have any sucess with etching thoose from Tayda with HCl and H2O2

 ;)

i use eddystone boxes...the other day i tried a rs hammond box from usa.(rounded corners)..and it was hard as nails to etch...even in really strong ferric!...
they must have a different blend of metals etc...those usa hammonds/rs/  look a lot shinier even before you do anything to them..
the eddystones are much more workable/etchable...never had a problem with them....

i do the usual toner transfer method.... :)

Notice those nice white washers? They look cool :icon_twisted:

no they don't.... >:(

at least your locking washers are underneath though!... ;)

yes, but they serve the purpose... My faceplates aren't scratched at all

You can use some tape on your wrench, so you never get that metal to metal friction and never need to use washers again :icon_idea:

I think it was Pigyboy who showed a neat solution using a business card with a hole cut it in to place around the nut and protect the pedal surface from the wrench.

Finally got my Echo Base delay pedal debugged and working.
Had a small disaster with the paint finish, I ran out of clear lacquer and used a different brand which seemed to react with the previous coat and cause some cracking, very strange, I knew I should have just left it with the few coats of lacquer it already had  :icon_cry:

just standard kids watercolours.

theyre gonna be 3 tubescreamer variations in a box.

or on tgp, 3 totally unique flarvoured overdrives perfect for stacking combinations.
