Finished up this modded Ross Compressor for a friend over the weekend. Painted it with some Krylon stone spray paint that came out nice. Feels really durable. Then the aluminum plate has water slide decal over top.

Also finished this BC108 Fuzz Face. I made the board by placing a piece of copper tape (left over from shielding a guitar) on some plastic and cut the traces out with an xacto knife. Works fine, but it's probably not something I'll do again. Just wanted to see if it'd work.

A500k gain pot at input
B250k tone pot
B20k sag pot to control voltage to circuit
A1m voltage feedback pot in series with the 100k voltage feedback resistor
B1m comp pot to control diode clipping at the end of the ciircuit
B1m switched oscillation pot to feed the end of the circuit back to the start

Once again Peter, tremendous build inside and out, taking it to a whole other level. Big fan of the painted interior and matching board. All so organized and neat.

Great layout and design outside as well,  a great looking build, nicely done!

Cool!  And very neat insides.  Is that actually a rotary switch for the OSC control?  If so, where did you get it?

That Fuzz above is something to behold. Humbled and taking notes as I type this!

Latest revisions of me overdrive... I realized that really thin waterslide decals make great screens.

Heres another from me. First time Bass Pedal build. Just boxed it up tonight. Based on the Acoustic 360 Preamp Fuzz Channel as used by Jaco Pastorius, apparently. Apologies for being a little scruffy here and there - still a relative noob.

I really like that use of the the waterslide decals on the board.

Very tidy builds.  ;D

(sorry for the poor quality, i don't have a camera, these are phone pictures!)
no guts shot for the moment, but i can take one if requested

cheers

frances

requested. a brave looking layout.

then here you are, sir!

messy guts (i ripped everything off of the previous stripboard which wasn't making any sound at all and kept every wire the same size so some became too long and others too short... but anyways)

and point-to-point board

thanks for the nice comments, hopefully i'll have something a little bit more interesting soon!

That 1MB Oscillation pot looks suspiciously like a small rotary switch  ???

Is that a PCB mount pot with the leads bent?
