Source for BOSS style thumbscrew?

Here's a headscratcher that I've never seen addressed anywhere.  Anyone have a source for the thumbscrew used to hold down the battery compartment/foot pedal assembly in a BOSS pedal (besides an authorized BOSS repair centre)?  I just bought a couple of BOSS pedals with them missing (previous owner replaced them with a 2" long flat head screw!!)  How does anyone lose these things??  You don't even need to take it out completely to change the battery!

Anyway, the closest thing I've found by googling around is the Shear-Loc type of screw/nut:

However that's not available in any of the hardware stores (Home Depot, etc.) around me.  I suppose I could order "samples" but I'd rather find a legit route.

They look great !
Isn't the bolt hole diameter a "normal" size like "M-1  M-2" or something ?
Having a proper plastic end would be great though :D
I have the same problem for a crybaby's bottom screws, just can't find
anything that fits  :x

Sorry, didn't help much.... I know

Local hardware stores won't carry them. Try a Wurth Service Supply.

It'd be nice to find a source for the thumbscrews, rubber grommets, and plastic insulator shields. For the old style flat shields, you can trace cut them out of mylar transparency sheets, and add the foam tape. Sometimes, you just don't feel like bothering with all that, you'd rather order one. I've never even seen a Boss price list for those parts.

Hi!

You might want to look into these guys:

Under the "Fastening and Sealing" heading, take a look at "Thumbscrews."
They seem to have it all, although I have no experience ordering from them.
