Hey! I need some help: after a couple of clone fx I decide to design my own distortion circuit. There a little problem: How can I do that? I search something on the net, but nothing. Can someone help me? :(  :(  :(

The site with the most "how and why" for how pedals can be designed is GEO - http://www.geofex.com. Read especially the "Technology of..." series and the Guitar Effects FAQ.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
