In most J201 schem's, you see a 100K trim pot. Has anyone measured and figured out the a range that J201's like to see for resistance? I don't have many trimpots and am snowed in. If someone can give me a range of resistors to try, then I can throw together an 18.

I don't know that there is a typical range. JFETs are pretty highly variable devices, it probably varies all over the place...

Usually 15k-33k does it for the ones I have.

It depends on the value of the sourse resistor (or whatever's the name of J-fet's emitter). :)
